Day 10 May 27, 2022 to Port Angeles day 1 of 4

We got organized and left our lovely woodland home at about a quarter to 9.  We found a Camping World in Fife, Washington, not too far off our route, so we could replace our spare macerator hose. But of course, they didn't have one. We called the campground and left a message to see if we can have an Amazon delivery there, because we're going to be there for 4 days. They said YES, so we ordered it. Should be here on Sunday. Hopefully the office is open Sunday. It is still raining on and off.

We tried to stop for lunch in Silverdale, but with all the congestion it was difficult to find parking and we ended up at Applebee's. The afternoon stopped raining and is partly cloudy. It is so lovely here.

We crossed the Hood Canal bridge. Notice how the water on the right is calm, and on the left is choppy. Wonder why?

Oops, spoke to soo! All clouded over and sprinkling again. And then it stopped. We found a Dairy Queen and had to visit.

We found out way up to the Elwha Dam RV Park. It is very cool. They have a "pick-what-you-want" greenhouse, which I did and made my breakfast smoothies for the next few days.

We got laundry done after Paul's macerator incident last night. They bake fresh bread at this little place. There is some art and a little playground.

I think tonight we are going to watch Dante's peak. We were supposed to watch it last night at Mt. Saint Helens, but we were dealing with the macerator disaster. But an appropriate movie about a volcano blowing up while visiting a volcano that actually DID blow it's top!
