Day 15 June 1, 2022 to Raymond Washington

As we leave the forest, I am sad to head back to more populated areas. Today, we head to Raymond, WA. Before leaving, we went for a walk on the beach, and found shells from crabs, razor clams, and regular clams, and sand dollars.

We took a little loop side trip into the lovely rainforest at Quinalt Lake and found a waterfall and these beautiful flowering bushes.
We decided to make a pot of chili in the instant pot. It's cooking while we're driving. I don't think the pressure cooking came on. But we'll see.

Some murals in Aberdeen.

Our campground is cute. We did not even consider going down to the beach here. The trail was so muddy and you sink about 3 inches into it. Not worth it. We went and gave all 3 of us a bath. The chili was ok, not great. I didn't cook the meat first so it all decomposed and made a sauce. Flavor was ok.
The little store had blackberry ice cream, even the doggie liked it.

Nothing else happened. Mellow day.
